Once your body is trapped in an inflammatory cycle, you can no longer eliminate fat cells or build muscle effectively. The has a unique way of getting inflammation under control. Savvy doctors are realizing that diagnosing patients with these chronic conditions and then treating the symptoms, as protocol dictates… for life… is NOT working.
Too many patients are disillusioned, not getting “well” and looking elsewhere for health. Now some doctors are promoting the “anti-inflammatory diet.” They appear on TV and write books claiming they just discovered a NEW BREAKTHROUGH, but the anti-inflammatory diet is nothing new. Successful bodybuilders have been living this diet and lifestyle for decades. You don’t have to look like a bodybuilder or even participate in the sport to enjoy youthful vigor and the good health benefits of bodybuilding. Inflammation is not hard to eliminate. We teach clients (many 70+ years old) how to do it. It takes a little pantry cleaning and learning some simple science about your body. Our approach is popular because people are realizing that medications, hours on cardio machines, fad/commercial diets and fat burning amphetamines don’t provide lasting results.
A diet rich with the essential nutrients and hormonal control ensures optimal immune functions, weight control and avoids premature aging. This is the anti-inflammatory lifestyle. Anti-Inflammatory Nutrition Classes
Traditional nutrition consultations consist of a nutritionist giving you little pamphlets or booklets that contain generic government guidelines and pictures of the food pyramid. They may even give you a pre-printed 1200, 1500 or 1800 calorie diet that is not tailored to your unique health, Rx drugs or activity level. They may even give you the famous “portion size” show using little plastic foods and sell you vitamin packs you don’t need or maybe even “fat burners” that won’t work. This is useless and a waste of both your time and money. We have a reputation for getting healthy, lasting results because we take a scientific approach to food and keep it the enjoyable experience it is meant to be. We won’t muddy your head up with confusing information that will leave you with no idea how you can apply it in real life. What we will do is refresh your memory on how your body functions. We will never suggest you follow a commercial or fad diet (Weight Watchers, cabbage soup, Atkins, etc.) or count total daily calories.
You will hear a lot of facts in this course. We use science, not the latest fad that disagrees with the last “latest” fad. We promote an anti-inflammatory diet, not portion control and calorie restriction. Cutting calories does nothing positive for your health if you are just eating less of the same inflammatory foods. Get out of the short-term, quick-fix mentality and learn a way of eating that works by manipulating natural hormonal responses of the body. If you do this while engaging in brief intense resistance training, it will give you the best body you can have. It is easy to mistake marketing for truth. We are often misled by what sounds good but does not use logic from science. When products are recommended, they have been thoroughly researched and hand picked to ensure they are the best. You will not be told to take things you DO NOT need. Our philosophy is to do and spend the least amount while making the most progress. Spend most of the year being in good shape, once a year get in great shape, then slide back into good shape but NEVER get out of shape.
